Hoover & Co Real Estate is a boutique real estate agency located in Virginia's beautiful Shenandoah Valley.  Chase Hoover and his team of specialized agents provide clients a unique level of service from years of experience in the hospitality and STR industry.  As investors themselves, Hoover & Co brings an unparalleled local perspective into strategies and operations of residential and commercial Short Term Rentals.

Our STR journey began in South Florida where Chase and his wife, Stephanie, were living around 2017 when Chase met the owner of a luxury vacation rental villa seeking a manager.  Being known as one to jump at unique opportunities, Chase accepted the position without any prior experience, learned the business, re-vamped the operations and marketing of the property, and signficantly increased revenue and occupancy.

Chase and Stephanie scaled their vacation rental management business over the next few years by specializing in working with investors buying and converting smaller cottages and multi-family properties from long-term rentals to short-term rentals.  By 2020, they had a portfolio of over 30 STR units under management.

​

As their young family grew, Chase & Stephanie decided to move back home to Virginia to lay down some roots in the Shenandoah Valley.  They began investing in cabins, scaling up to boutique inns and motels.  Given their experience and success in this niche industry, other investors began asking for assistance in finding unique hospitality properties for themselves, and Hoover & Co was born!
